Educator Division: Rules
- This competition has no regional restrictions. Participants from overseas countries outside Taiwan are welcome to register. Cross-school teams are allowed, and cross-national teams are also encouraged.
- Official teachers, intern teachers, substitute teachers and teacher trainees are all allowed to participate, from a science lesson plan perspective, develop easy-to-understand lessons on science topics, principles, and applications related to life. Adding a video may earn extra points.
- When preparing the lesson plan, download the competition template (Word file) and fill in the appropriate sections of the file with the design concept, objectives, target audience, lesson content, and references, and include relevant images, then convert the report to a PDF and upload it.
- Teams may update their reports during the submission period, and the final version will be used for evaluation.
- The science lesson plan should not exceed 8 pages. Submissions exceeding this limit will incur a penalty of 3-5 points.
- Participants must adhere to intellectual property laws and provide proper attribution for all referenced sources within their work. Any consequences resulting from the use of unauthorized references or violations of intellectual property rights will be the sole responsibility of the participants.
- Teams selected as finalists must attend the final presentation and awards ceremony. Each team will have 15 minutes: 10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
- For the preliminary submission stage, participants may upload a video of 3 to 5 minutes to get bonus up to 5 points. The video must explain the inspiration or meaning of the lesson plan. The video should be in mp4 format with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The video should be filmed in landscape orientation. The file size after compression must not exceed 250MB. Failure to upload the video will result in losing the 30 points.
- Works scoring above 80 points will receive a "Certificate of Selection" awarded in the name of the event.

Phase 1 - Preliminary Round:
Judges review the submissions, provide feedbacks, and assign scores. The number of judges will depend on the number of submissions, and after peer reviews. The top 6 teams advance to the final round, where live presentations will be scored to determine Gold(1 team), Silver(2 teams), Bronze(3 teams). Teams ranked 7th-10th will be considered "Honorable mention", 11st-15th will be considered "Commendations" and are not required to present in the final but will attend the awards ceremony. -
Phase 2 - Final Round:
Three judges will evaluate the final teams' projects and live presentations. Scores will determine the rankings, and results will be posted on the competition website. Judges will evaluate based on criteria set by the organizers shown in the following tables.
